Though law review is independent work, I understand your concern about taking on too much. We are students too, and completely understand that school comes first. Last fall, I took 5 classes and wrote my law review article; I was busy, but it is doable. Last semester, I took 4 classes for the first time, and it's literally amazing how much more free time you have when you go from 1L year taking 5 classes to 2L year taking 4 classes. That would help you if you're really worried about the time management. Another suggestion I have is to start working on your law review article over the summer, after the training seminar. That way, it lessens what you need to do during the school year. That would be a game changer, in terms of the free time you have.
